Hi GWG Members

Great news for the GWG. We are happy to announce that Bryan Mailey and Todd Dawson have agreed to join our committee.

Bryan Mailey is from Udora, Ontario, Canada. His 206.5# melon took 1st place at the Prince Edward County Pumpkinfest in Wellington, Canada last year.

Todd Dawson is from Garner, North Carolina. Todd's 282.2# melon took 1st place in the GWG and was the largest watermelon grown in 2011.

Unfortunately, Chris Kent is stepping down from the GWG. We have enjoyed working with him over the last year. We respect Chris and his decision to leave due to personal reasons. Thank you Chris for all of your ideas and contributions to the GWG and web site and we wish you all the best.

We are now in the process of selecting our 5th committee member.

I would like to make this public!There was an agreement made with Great White that no other Mycorrihizae sponsors be accepted in till the 2,000$ is won.If this is violated they have the right to back out of the offer of 2,000.00 for the first melon over 300lbs.Just dotting my I's & crossing my T,s Welcome Todd & Bryan!!
