When a topic gets a response from one of the members, why can't it pop back to the top of the discussion list. A lot of topics that are great cannot be recuscitated because they just keep moving down until they are gone to page 2 or 3 or 10. Some of the things being discussed are good enough that they should not disappear such as how to water, fetilize, kill vine borers or prune or whatever. There are some really good threads that are just "gone" or have to be started all over again. Can BP be adjusted so that the good topics can just pop to the top of the list if someone comments on that particular thread? Other places where I post do this and it really works out well. Other places use what they call a "sticky" because the topic stays on top as a known valuable discussion. Thanks. Marv, who is trying to make the world a better place to grow tomatoes and whatever.

Doesn't sound like bitching to me. Sounds like its an idea that would help the thread user get all the information in one shot. Since most topics have been covered several different times. It never hurts to ask questions that may benefit the AG growing community. Now I know Marv was just joking about having the GPC convention in Altoona, anyone who's ever been there would know that! lol

Why are positive suggestions always considered by some to be bitching? The CB handle for Altoona is "Poverty City." I was just trying to stimulate the economy. 1320 probably is opposed to sliced bread. Marv

if every new comment brought the thread back up to the top, would the arguments ever end? at least now they die a slow death as they fade down the list.

There are certainly a lot of threads that need not be revisited! It would be good for topics pertaining to the actual growing of the AGs,fertilizing, seed starting etc....
