Subject:  soluble myco

this has probably been discussed before, but I couldn't find it...

when you make soluble myco, is it micronized? Does micronization damage spore count or anything?

and if it has to touch the roots to be effective, is a drench with soluble myco more effective because you are essentailly drenching more surface area?

Pete, as spores are milled, a certain percentage will get damaged, the manufacturer/culturer takes that into consideration when recommending a the dilution/application rate, but yes they do get damaged.
I dont know if a drench is more effective, I still believe that "granular" Mycorrhiza applied to the transplant hole and at every leaf node when we bury vines is far more effective.
