Check out this website for free plans for various structures. http://www.pvcplans.com/

Did you go to sngpg.com and click on "Hot House Plan?" Clicking on the image again enlarges it so that you can easily read everything, including all dimensions, etc.

You can also use 1/2 inch pvc pipe and slip the pipe over rebar driven into the ground OR drive 3/4 inch pvc pipe into the ground and slip 1/2 pvc pipe into the larger pipe. Join the hoops at the top using another piece of pipe and connectors or duct tape.

This is what I use. Instead of plastic this year I am thinking of covering the hoop in floating row cover.

Are we talkin like the Shazzydome that could withstand a class 5 tornado or something like the Smallmouth Dome that collapsed from an acorn that fell on it?

Both some good links... the drool on pvcplans is the link to the unusual and hard to find PVC fittings! Thank you!

F5 tornado!!!!!!! Haha. Just some thing that can last longer than if an acorn fell on it. My patch in in the open so when spring storms come it can get pretty windy!!!!
