Received a seed with BWG&T on the package.Can anyone tell me what this stands for?

Blue Water Growers and Throwers. They have a weigh-off and pumpkin cannon competition near Sarnia every year.

Hey Monsterdog, you must be talking about the 958 Watson seed. That was my favorite plant last year and the 958 won the BWG&T weigh-off.
I am aware The Blue Water Growers and Throwers club is working on a website so more info on our group will be available online soon.
