I have a total of 19 feed lines being spammedout right now, using my email addy as the return address. Most of the returns are coming off of Australia URL's, so I am assuming that is the target for this one.

I have taken measures to prevent anything going out directly from me, and that much is fine... whoever is doing this spoofed me as return. I am not causing the issue and my system is secure.

My account was not hacked. My system was not hacked. It is a spoof of me as return addy, so any bounces are coming my way instead of to the spammer.

I am doing research to try to find the gateways and get those shut down, and I doubt that will be possible even if I do trace them.

Just a heads up. It is looking like whoever spoofed Paul Fiedler got his address list, if you got a spoofed mail from Paul be extra wary.

Paul, your computer has probably been turned into a zombie, and it is cranking out spam to mailboxes all over the world.

You may have to take your computer to a technician to get rid of the problem.

Combofix
TDSSKILLER
Malwarebytes
Then change your email password.
It is real important to run those programs in that order.

The most important thing to do is to UNPLUG the computer from the internet....stop the spam and then get the computer cleaned up.
