Just wanted to clear things up with what was said about weigh-off pay out People are saying SOGPG is paying $5000 for first place the thing is that $5000 is what our goal is for first does not mean it will be but $500 is going to be first for Giant watermelon I will make sure of it I have money I will add to the pot for the melons everyone will need to bare with us for now till sometime late spring hopefully our committee is working hard to make this years weigh-off at the Circleville Pumpkin Show a success thank you for all the support SOGPG the clubs and growers threw out the country also I want to let the people know ahead of time the weigh-off will be held Tuesday early afternoon sorry for the inconvenince we know this will be hard on some of our growers but we think this is a great chance to help the club and the pumpkinshow thank for info contact me [email protected] or pumpkin Joe

i think its great that there is now a gpc site weigh-off piggy backing at the circleville pumpkin show.
thats a great attraction and draws very large following.

yes it will finally let outside growers get a feel of being apart of the big show.
