After discussing with a friend about K levels late on in the season and wanting to replace as we go but not by too much, I was wondering about a liquid version that could be applied.

Below is a snippet of sales dialouge from a UK suppliers catalouge.

Has any used anything similar or would you?

Thanks

Our Liquid Potassium has an N:P:K of 0:0:28 and it also contains 12½% liquid Humate. The quality raw materials in the formulation produce not only a fully homogenised solution but a chelated solution resulting in the following features and benefits:

90% available to the plant
stable at extremely high and low temperatures
long shelf life
non-toxic
no chlorine salts or heavy metals
no fluoride impurities
Liquid Potassium is an environmentally safe premium liquid nutrient. It can be used on both soils and foliage. It is ideal for bringing out improvements in flower colour and size. With the Humate content, root density is increased. It is ideal for hardening stems towards the end of the season, eg for bonsai and exhibition flowers in general.

There are also greenhouse grade fertilizers that are much more soluble than field grade. They're typically more expensive. I like potassium sulfate (0-0-52).

This one is about $10 per 500ml and is pretty concentrated. Thanks Wiz I'll get in touch with Pete.

I got in touch with Pete and it would seem that the products are pretty much the same except that KDL has added seaweed and PERFORM (the product above) is in a humate solution.

Looks like I need to get my wallet out ;)
