I have seeds from '08 and '09. I've kept them dry and they look ok. How long do are they good for?

In my experience I have seen that if the seeds were stored well can germinate even after 5 years.

Kirk Mombert grew his famous 561 for 10 straight years and had bigger pumpkins each time except for once.

I recently conducted a germination test on five seeds, one from each year from 2000 through 2004. The 934 Mombert 2000,761 Mombert 2001,785 Mombert 2002, and 661 Pukos 2004 all came up. The only one that did not come up was the 978 Pukos 2003 and that seed did not look good to start with. The seeds were all stored in mason jars in the refrigerator. With proper storage, I believe seeds should be viable for at least 10 to 15 years.
