South Dakota

Here is SE South Dakota we have had a mild year. No snow yet. The ground is not even frozen. A week before Christmas and I could still work in the garden if I wanted to. Some golf courses are still open. It is 54 degrees right now. My kids and I went to Church this morning and then played outside all day. I have steaks on the grill right now. I love it!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Same here in SE MN....I took my "car" out for ride today almost went into convertible mode :-)...just hope we don't get paid back in July of 2012 LOL.

45 here rite now.. as with you folks beautiful day... i did stop and get the snowplow picked up fer my atv... will get it on in the next few days ,,, i believe when it starts ,, it will be hard and heavy till may!!! but i want to be prepared ,, if it dont ,, lol,, only out a few hours of time,,, merry christmas to all, and happy holidays ... best to all, curt and sue saxton

We have no snow and temps have been 20*C warmer than normal. I could run the garbage to the curb in my sock feet in December! Seems like late October. Oh but the wind. The wind. Lots of 60K days and some 90k days.

62 degrees here. Took the kids out ground squirrel shooting in the hills. We had some decent early October rain but it has been pretty dry since.

Today I played tennis and afterwards we sat at a table and had some homemade sourdough bread and wine and cookies! it must have been 60 degrees today in Napa. We are having frosts every night but the days have been dry and around 60. We will be screaming for rain soon!

Was sunny but cool here today high temps 25 F degrees or so , right now 10:40 PM it's 7 degrees . Weatherman said a warm up is on the way with rain around Wednesday .

As I post, 39f and we are bracing for 10-15 inches of snow and probably our power going out here in the panhandle. Monday night is when it's supposed to let it rip, then wind pick up of 30-35 plus gusts to 50.
Was to grocery store earlier and it was well picked over, enough remember the 2007/2008 blizzard to have gotten out to get stuff (some were snowed in for 8-12 days).
High Sunday was a lovely 69f... and all of you Coloradoans get what we send you this week. BRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Snow's been flying all day here, rather ugly and WHITE out there. Stepped out on back deck to feed the yard cats a few times and man they were fluffed out (can we say 'round'?)

Power did go off about 6pm for about 10 min, by time I was ready to drag wood in to start the fireplace, it came back on. (THANK YOU oh LORD and the FIELD LINEMEN from TriCounty)

Still praying it stays on.
