Haven't experienced this before, but it seems more and more seeds are opening at the seams as they are drying? Seeds in warm basement w/fan on low 24/7. Can I be drying them too quickly, or maybe genetics, or plain who knows? Are these split seeds gonners or could they be frozen to maintain 'em? Any thought s appreciated. Duff

Years ago I had some like that and they were OK. Keep drying them.

IMHO...I think genetics has something to do with it.

having completed my first year of growing AG's I dried seeds from two pumpkins. The first had approx 600 seeds and I had none that split. The other had approx 300 seeds but nearly half split at the seams as duff experienced.
