Thanks to all of you who donated seed, etc. to the Wyoming County 4-H Pumpkin-Giant Veggie Competition. The weather made things difficult for the kids.. But they did it!!

WARSAW — The Wyoming County 4-H Giant Vegetable weigh-in was held Saturday at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office in Warsaw.

The following is a list of this year’s winners:

Giant Pumpkins:

1. Katie Fisher, Warsaw — 207 pounds

2. Colton Raiber, Arcade — 106 pounds

3. Preston Skillman, Arcade — 75 pounds

4. Chalmers Wolcott, Wyoming — 66 pounds

5. Emma Russell, Arcade — 11 pounds

Giant Sunflowers:

1. Joe Fisher, Warsaw — 17 inches

2. Katie Fisher, Warsaw— 16.5 inches

3. Josh Spicer, Pavilion — 15 inches

4. Abby Skillman, Arcade — 13.5 inches

5. Alexa Wolcott, Wyoming — 13.25 inches

6. Preston Skillman, Arcade — 13 inches

7. Hannah Spicer, Pavilion — 12 inches
