You can count on one hand the number of serious growers in the entire state of Idaho. The closest to Twin Falls is Cliff Warren (Pocatello)about an hour away. I'm about 2.5 hours away (Rexburg) and another grower in the northern part of the state. Sorry not much to choose from around here. If I'm are close enough to work let me know and I'll see what I can do.

The Twin Falls News is online. You can search through old articles there. I searched through last years stuff but nothing came up. I am assuming the dates were 2005.

I once heard of someone trying giant pumpkins in Twin Falls, but that was a few years ago. I haven't heard anything since.

Oh by the way, I have the largest potato. You need an 18 wheel semi-trailer to haul it. Picture available by snail mail.

Hmmm... well, Twin Falls is really about 2 hours from here, and we aren't really in the same "media market"... (whatever that means in Idaho). That is, we don't have their newspapers, different TV stations, etc.
I'm having trouble understanding your dates... 10/4/07? 2007? Hasn't happened yet??? (Boy, am I confused.)
If I get the right dates to look for, there's a small chance that I could find it next time I go to the library. But, chances are that out of market newspapers aren't kept that long.

Holy Cow! I didn't think there were people living in Idaho that long ago! ;-) When you said "1907", that didn't even register with me, lol!
Maybe you could write to the current local paper in Twin, or write to the public library there. I'm sure we don't have it at our library in Pocatello. I might do a little digging... if there is a partnership between our lib and others in the state... it may be microfilmed... I don't know.

If you don't water a plant it dies. If you stop feeding a stray dog it goes away. Just a suggestion.
