The Howard Dill is set at 400 lbs or greater.

That's a shame considering the state record is 885 and how difficult it is to grow down there. Last year, I believe there was only 1 pumpkin over 400 at the Missouri weighoff due to drought and heat. I was under the impression HD rules varied by site so pumpkin bell would be a contender.

Those are good points. Let me talk to the committee tommorrow. They are very reasonable and want all the participation we can get.

Now ya got me worried. lol. I need to check up here now. I am on pace for 400, but would pass on a round trip 6 hour drive incase my pumkin goes light and I wouldn't qualify. Good luck all.

I talked to the committee today on the Howard Dill award. The are in agreement to set the limit at 300 lbs. Thanks to all the southern growers for your input. We want this to be a fun weighoff for everyone.

Luke, there is some mighty good fishing here. Look up Smith Lake and Lake Guntersville. All 30 minutes from weigh off location. Just saying.

Will do, I know the fish get big down there! Good luck and glad more can get involved for the Dill award.
