I grew it (or my 2 year old son did) :-D
It grew this last year in a brand new patch, unfertilized, planted late, compacted clay soil, high heat, etc. out of 7 plants, it grew the only hand pollinated fruit in the patch, and had the only main vine in the patch that didn't get a burnt tip (659 Troy went down early to a gopher, or I might have had two plants without burnt tips!). Nice orange color. Fruit matured VERY early in the high heat (regularly exceeding 100F), and topped out at 69 pounds. I wouldn't blame the small size on the seed, though. I moved at the end of July, so I got a REAL late start on my new patch. You can see pictures in my diary.
BTW... my son won 5th place in the future farmer competition with this pumpkin! :) I think I mentioned that in a different thread, too...
