If I remember correctly, this cross(or the reverse), was on the auction on Saturday. Could someone tell me the grower, the pumpkin weight, and the year of the cross.
I asked Mike Nepreny at the AGGC, and there was no record there of the cross, so I assume it was made this year, and hasn't been entered yet.

I guess not all over 700 lb. pumpkins are in Marv Hick's 700 lb. list.

The seed we are talking about was on Howard Dill's seed list last winter, labelled as the 865 Black 03.
However, at the auction they called it the 855 Black 03.
Not sure what is correct...

I have been trying to find out Don Black's email address for a long time as I wanted to contact him concerning pics of his 2003 pumpkins. If anyone has it please let me know.

He not only had the 865/855 Black 03 (1260 Weir X 801.5 Stelts) but he also had a 1002 Black 03 (801.5 Stelts X 876.5 Llyod). The 6th 1000/+lbs pumpkin off the 801.5, not shown on the AGGC as well.
