Are most pumpkins grown from the 712 Kuhn, pale in color?

Thanks Martin. I'm surprised by the great color the two pumpkins grown from the 1370 Rose seed(1260 Weir X 712 Kuhn). that I've seen posted in the diary section. I would have expected fruits with much less color. I guess it shows how unpredicable this hobby/sport is. The 1370 Rose is at the top of my growing list for next year(currently).

I was wondering about the same thing as well..... and the 1370 is on my planting list, too! All 1370 offsprings I know of have been shiny orange with decent shape.
