Does anybody know if any crosses have been made of this sort? If so, I would be interested in getting seeds from these pumpkins. Thick walls x big size and splits = big size less splits???

One of my pumkins this year is a 753 Pappas (898 Knauss X Self) X 1097 Beachy. I just carved the pumpkin up earlier today. Lots of seeds.

sounds like a cool cross, what were the fruit like on the 898 and 1097.5? Most importantly, % heavy, wall thickness uniformity stem-blossom, top-bottom. What were the shapes like. Also, look inside the fruit for any internal structural flaws and tears in the flesh. What if any tears did you find, where, how many?
