According to my notes there hasn't been one single 1000 pounder grown off the 845 Bobier 00 this year. Am I correct?
In 2001 it produced one, in 2002 about 5 and last year as much as 10 or so... and none this year! Why?

For sure there a fewer being grown now with fewer left to grow.
We were deperate enough to try a cutting. LOL
This is a good question. Someone had to grow it this year besides Jim Kuhn.

"some like it hot"...maybe 2004 was not that kind of season for the 845.

The 845 did top 1000 last year, and also had some 1100+ split off of it that were on their way to a much larger size. Also, it is a 4 year old seed, could be that growers are begining to move on to new and better seeds
