735 Pukos 1058 Houghton
If you don't grow the 735 let me know. I'd be interested in growing it next year. It's grown 4 - 1000 lbers and a few 900 lbers. The 1058 has grown a couple of 1000 lbers last year also.

The 735 & 1058 are great choices for big and heavy. You can't go wrong with either of those.
I'd put in the 869.5 for the color and shape. One of the most beautiful lookers.
The 1058 tends to go heavy....

The 1058 Houghton progeny average 11.48% heavy over-the-cart (OTC) the 735 average 6.12% and the 869.5 average 4.74%. These figures do not include 2003 progeny.

Nope, it's in the genetics, a cross between the parents of a 1058 and 1225 would probably be better than a 1068 x 1225. I like 1058 Houghton x 869.5 Calai of 735 Pukos. Tom
