Jack didn't get many seeds from the pumpkin. I think the seed count was around 50 or so.

Owen: If you are looking to line breed it, remember that it is a 705 Stelts x 846 Calai. Presuming you don't have a 705, 846, or 1016 Daletas in your possession (more power to you if you do) how about selfing it, or crossing with 921.5 LaRue (03), which is 708 x 846. Just a thought. Good luck... Frank

If what Frank said is what you want to do I have seeds from Brad Walters 245 which is 705 Stelts X 846 Calai.
If you want any send me an e-mail.

Thanks for the suggestion Frank. Thank you for the offer Mikkal. Low seed count and 3 pumpkins over 900 pounds sounds like good odds. I noticed that they went heavy also. All I need now is a 1016 Daletas to cross it with, who knows maybe I will get lucky. :-)

What else do you have and are thinking about growing? That 708 x 1016 doesn't excite me too much. What do you want to do, make it heavier? More orange?

Keep it going heavy. I am not going to plant it this year, I already have those seeds set. I won it in the BP auction and am looking at what I might be able to do with it next year. What would you do with it Ben?

if you want to keep it heavy but still keep some of the orange color you coukd cross it with an 865 Mettler. Just an idea. Tom

Maybe 898 Knauss would keep it going heavy and 695 Handy would along with adding barrell shape!

I'd cross it with my 880 ;), I like steve's idea of the 695, you won a 805 right? That wouldn't be bad either. If I was you, I might reconsider what you're planting this year. I know I know, you don't want to have to go through that heart wrenching time again but I think you should think about it.

You know that feeling you get when you have finally made the final decisions on what to grow? I just lost it after reading the last 3 posts. LOL I could cross it with the 695 or the 805. Okay, I will start a separate message and ask for seed selecton help....owen
