801.5 Stelts x 935 Lloyd. Is this cross a dream come true or what? Produced 1082 Mackinnon in its first year out. Anyone else besides me planning to grow this seed this year? Anyone grown this cross before...if so how did it do for you?

I'm growing a 963 this year, i hope to pollinate a 582 Hester with it (1026x940)x(801.5x935). Obviously someone has grown it, or else where would the 1082 have come from? lol. Tom

I grew it last year. It was a nice plant, but blossom split on me the last week of August. Thick fruit with good shape. At the time it was one of the larger ones in the patch and had picked up the growth rate and was gaining on the largest. It had kind of an odd shaped blossom on it and I probably should have culled that particular fruit and tried to set another one. I'll give it a pass this year and be trying some others. I like the looks of the 717 Mitchell. It has only one progeny listed but it was 923 lbs. 723 X 801.5 I think there's probably bigger fruit possible with that one too.
