I have chosen my seeds for the 2004 Season. I would like to know what would be the best crosses to make.

I will hopefully have 846 Calai Pollen also. I am just wondering what could be the best crosses to make.
Thanks, Mikkal

Mikkal, the 1301 is going to be a force (awesome seed), but are you going to be the one to help prove it? I hope you do.. If I had the cojones to grow a 2003 seed, I would grow that one first.. Here is the list I would grow if I were you..
(BTW - nice to see the squash (true greenie in there!)
1. 580 Wier X 950 Boynton (keeps color, but reinforces the 845 weight factor)
2. 922.5 Emmons X 208 Little ((940 is awesome color, back that up!)
3. 753 Pappas with anything.. That 753 pollen will be major factor to heavy fruit in years to come. I actually have given thought to putting that into my garden (it weighed like 32.27 percent over the charts) How could you go wrong with that as a male pollenator?

Rocks suggestion of the 922.5 x 208 is crossing back to the father and grandfather in one shot...interesting.

If you have access to 846.5 Calai pollen , I wouldn't see why pollinating all of them with the 846.5 wouldn't be good.........
