When choosing the flowers that you will pollenate, what features do you look for get big fruit. If give choice of flower shape, flower size, and flower intertor features.

first i look at location main vine over 12' out then i look for flower shape second for no flaws or deep creases from the stem to fruit (split poteintal) as well a large stem and lots of rib lines in fruit. next i look at the lobes. he more the merrier with no seeds poking out and the more uniform the better. lastly i look at the flowers blooming size so far i find it of little importance but of course i would take a larger one over a small one if everything else was the same.

....and methinks it is important to choose one that is leaning away from the main vine somewhat. This usually suggests it will position it's self with the least help.
Actually I polinate all from ten feet out on the main.
I favor heavily the one that is growing the fastest at the time of decision. I then remove one every two days or hold the second choice for two weeks and then cut it off. From basketball to a little larger on it is I and the first choice, for a run, at the biggest possible, on that plant.
I want a single fruit growing as soon as possible. I hold the second choice for two weeks as my plan B should my first choice want to quit for any reason.
