i think that someone should cross the 805 with the 1092 as wellas the reverse cross. purify the 805, plenty of 935 Lloyd genes involved. what do you think would be a dynamite cross next year?

Owen, That's a good idea. I had planned on doing that this year, but the 1092 Burke didn't fire up. There's not a lot of those seeds floating around anymore. The next best thing might be bringing a selfed 935 back into the 805 and the reverse. For next year, I'd like to try bringing my 735 genetics into the 842 Eaton and see what that might do..Joe P.

One of the pumpkins i´ll planting next year will be the 756 Ford (1020 Kuhn x 805 Pukos ). The 756 grow with with the 805 as pollinator the 1082 Curry, so i´ll pollinate the 756 Ford probably with the 641,3 Olsen.

I actually thought of that aswell, but! there are a few other seeds that I have thought about crossing the 1092 with, but yes, indeed it looks like a good cross. P.S. Need 1092 Burke still, please, anyone at all! I shall make that cross aswell if I can get ahold of the 1092, let alone the 805 and 1092 germinate.

On the subject of the 805, I'm thinking of trying an 805 x 529 Calai, the 529 is an 865 Mettler x 937 Mombert, the 937 is the reverse of the 865. I think it's a pretty interesting ccombonation of 946.5 and 567.5 genes, which we have seen go along very well with the 935 strain. Tom
