            | Kiwi_pumpkin | Gisborne, New Zealand | With seeds getting harder and harder to move between countries I was thinking of trying to stock up on seeds for NZ growers.
Now if I planted lets say a 1945dmg Datetas as a mother plant and pollinated 3 females with the plants I am growing this season (2109 Zywiec, 1998 Jutras, 1338 Martin) would all the resulting pumpkins be true crosses?

 1945 Datetes x 2109 Zywiec
 1945 Datetes x 1998 Jutras
 1945 Datetes x 1338 Martin
And depending on how the plant was looking maybe also self pollination.

            | Pumpking | Germany | The answer is YES. | 7/22/2016 1:26:45 AM |

            | Matt D. | Connecticut | Yes they wold all be true crosses as long as you control the pollinations.
Also, remember you do not necessarily need a big pumpkin to produce big results, you just need genetics to produce big;-)

            | Kiwi_pumpkin | Gisborne, New Zealand | Thanks for that. I had your 'Snowball' in mind when I was asking the question. Also crossing 1338 Martin x 1998 Jutrus, 2109 Zywiec x 1998 Jutrus and 1998 x 2109 reverse cross so all going to plan should have good stocks for any growers over here that want seeds.
