            | Andy W | Western NY | Tom Swain - 1287 and 1104 on the same plant in 2014. That's the best I know of. | 12/21/2015 2:50:42 PM |

            | Pinnacle Peak | British Columbia, Canada | John Castellucci grew 4 pumpkins on one plant for a total weight of 2600 lbs back in 1997. | 12/21/2015 3:08:59 PM |

            | Darren C (Team Big-N-Orange) | Omaha, Ne. | sounds like it would make a good contest:) | 12/21/2015 5:33:48 PM |

            | So.Cal.Grower | Torrance, Ca. | Looks like Tom can grow 2 kins on one plant that both beat my best one on a single plant. | 12/21/2015 5:48:37 PM |

            | cheddah | norway , maine | i wonder if the second pumpkin is grown on an early side vine or one closer to the MV pumpkin
would make a cool contest Darren...2391 lbs on one plant is pretty cool

            | Tconway (BigStem) | Austin MN | Here is a cool way to think of it...2391 pounds in one plant! So with that logic we know that one plant could grow or gave enough energy to grow a single 2391 pound pumpkin! | 1/6/2016 11:30:24 PM |

            | swaintech | churchville, ny | I usually grrow 2 pumpkins per plant due to deer and woodchuck pressure. The 1287 and 1104 were on soil where I had never grown before and was previously covered by a greenhouse.
The 1287 (1791 Holland X 1813 Northrup) was on the main vine about 18 feet out. The 1104 was a later open pollination and was on the first side vine from the stump out about 7 feet - it still had growth in it until freezing temperatures did it in.
