            | Bnicholas26 | Ct | It's my first year growing Atlantic giants, so far so good, I have 3 successful fruits at about 150 pounds right now. My question pertains to trimming the male flowers. Do you guys trim/nip them off or just leave them alone. I'd figure it would take energy away from the plant once you have well established fruit. I have no use for the males and I nip them, doesn't seem to affect the plant. Input? | 8/4/2015 7:54:49 PM |

            | Orangeneck (Team HAMMER) | Eastern Pennsylvania | If you have the time, trim off all unneeded males. If not, no worries. | 8/4/2015 10:53:21 PM |

            | Phil and Jane Hunt - GVGO | Cameron | As soon as we see that we have our pollinations done, then every flower (male & female) is cut off ASAP. Well before they get a chance to mature. No need to waste energy growing them & we don't attract as many bugs to the plant. No bees are harmed when we spray either. A win-win situation for us. Good luck.
