I just seen a picture of this 1159 Richards 07 and it sure was a large beautiful orange perfect shaped pumpkin. I seen the picture off his seed packet. Amazing looking fruit to say the least. (Anyone have a picture of this fruit that they can post for people to see?)

I seen the 1159 was grown off a 919 Ricahrds 06, does anyone know the cross?

the 919 Richards was from the 939 Richards 05 cross 664.5 Richards X 1027 Beachy

Joe, on the seed pack it says its the 919 Richards x 998 Pukos.,,,,Ether way its a great cross and great looking pumpkin!

I believe he crossed it with the 998 that grew his 1468. not sure though, I have not seen the seed packet

Ooops, Mistake! The 1159 is from the 919 Richards crossed with the 998.6
Pukos. The 919 Richards cross is the 939 Richards 05' X 1231.3 Pukos and the 939 cross is 664.5 Richards x1027 beachy

I got a chance to see that thing in person at Didier Farms. What a beauty!!!! That is what probably the prettiest pumpkin i have seen.

I was looking to see where this awesome orange and shape is coming from, there is alot of 723 Bobier in this pumpkin, but yet if you look a little more it has the 567 Mombert along with alot of orange in the 1231's back ground. Alot of ugly and pretty genes mixed in with this pumpkins back ground.

Joe,
Which side of the lineage do you think the color came from? That fruit reminds me a lot of the 1027 way back when I could grow pumpkins over 500 lbs. I didnt realize until you posted the history.

I didnt see your 1046 in person, so I never got a good feel for the color. I knew it was orange, but I didnt think it was real dark.

I can't believe that color. For me the 1159 is the hands down best looking pumpkin I have ever seen. I set the pic of it as my wallpaper at work and on my home computer as well. I am going to cross it with either the 893 Privitera or 965 Pukos.
