I am a new grower and I'm not sure about the pollination process. I need to know how to tell the difference between the male and female flowers of the pumkin plant

When I first started I went to a site called pumpkin nook and on this site is a diagram with the info you need. The link to that site is right here on big pumpkins under links. To quickly respond to your question The female flower has a baby pumpkin under the flower and lobes inside the flower. The male flower has nothing under the petals and it has a long single stem inside the flower that is yellow and covered with pollen. If you go thru the diaries here on this site a lot of the pictures show the female flower and of course the males.
