the supply of 1068 wallace seeds are nearing the end of the line. for those that are fortunate enough to still be holding one be thankful.the run is almost over.
its very possible based on the reports we have been given that a minimum of 5 quality gpc type top ten pumpkins will be grow this year from the 1068. starting out west working its way across country into ohio all the way up to new england. for those of you who have accomplisted this with our seed we thank you. the seed is no good if it never sees dirt and /or gets the attention and effort.fortunately the 1068 saw plenty of it over these last four years.
its a shame the seed count was low to begin with or the run would have lasted longer for more growers.
next big thing in my opinion will be
for overall size and beauty 998 pukos for weight (thickness) and pollinator 1502 wallace ( BOTH SAG LINE FREE PUMPKINS )

pap, Even though there are just a few left, the 1068 genetics are going to impact the pumpkin growing community for years after those seeds are gone.

Funny to think about it, be we are actively assisting the evolution of the AG.
Better genetics for size, structure, and plant durrabilty result in more of the seeds getting planted, and themselves getting to reproduce.
Not exactly natural selection, but super-natural selection.
