Behind this year? We had a cold and wet spring, and I have not set one pumpkin yet. It will probably be a week, which will be about 7-10 days behind last year.
I'm not expecting much this year, or even to beat my PB of 518, but I might be surprised?

Herbie, I'm ahead of past years. In the past I've had pollinations on July 20 and around Aug. 1, that were estimated above your PB. So there's still time to grow a nice one. Good luck!

Three of my 4 plants are 1/2-2 weeks behind, but one is right on schedule. I think it's because I lost the main on 2 of them. One of them is a genetic dud. It has been cooler than normal.

We're two weeks behind because we started two weeks late. New patch, no electricity & no cloches. I think they'll catch up...or not? Depends on August & September.

I pollinated two on one plant on the 17th. Looks like they took, I'll pick the best one after vacation.

I'm way behind. My plants where destroyed by hail in June. But right now I have four plants pollinated. I can say at least I'm just happy with the fact that I'll have some pumpkins come this fall. You can't fight mother nature.... Be happy with what you got...

Im thinking Im way behind this year too even though I started 2 weeks earlier....I visited a longtime growers patch several weeks ago and came home thinking...where did I go wrong.....then another grower visits me and tells me this is the one he's banking on so I felt better, but........ I am reminded by Master Yoda that we are in a marathon, not a sprint. Gee 71 days before our first weigh off on Sept 29th......there is lots of time left to set new PB and shake a few SR's. Grow'em BIG
