Is Nick Welty overseeing questions in this board perhaps? I have some questions about wheter or not the AG genome has been mapped, etc.

I've been searching out any information even regarding the ploidy of the AG.... Not much of anything has been scientifically studied/published on this subject....
I'm hopeful to get in the lab of an Ag researcher I known.. Just a simple count/comparison of Chloroplasts of regular hubbards and the giants would give us a general idea on the simple question of Ploidy...
BTW - plants can be monoploid, diploid (like us), Polypoids with 4,6, etc.....of DNA strands...
