OK, so I was thinking about using either the 1347 (1068 X 1370) or the 1110 (1370 X 1068)to pollinate a 1446 werner.
Technically both the 1347 and the 1110 have the genetics of the 1068 and 1370... I was leaning toward the 1110 just based on looks (round and orange), but thought I would get some opinions as to which one to use...
anyone have a stong opinion for one or the other?
thanks!

I had to make the same choice this year...I'm planting the 1110 Wallace. I think either one has loads of potential. On a side note the 1110 was a fast germinator.. 36 hours in the baggie...3days in the pot and she germinated. Mark

For what it's worth(not much IMHO), I'd lean towards the 1110 myself. Was the 1068 Pollinator from the plant that produced the 1347? You could always toss a coin. I like the 1068 as the pollinator though(don't ask me why LOL).

the 1347 was basicly the same shape as the 1502 ---- egg shaped with that alligator blossom end and medium color.
the 1110 was round and deeper orange.
personally id go with the heavier of the two because i believe it takes a heavier weighted parent seed to produce a larger offspring. i know this is not always the case but id rather start with a heavier potential seed stock than not.
the 1110 ? im sure will get its share of plantings as well.and has the potential just because of the cross. id plant them both if i had the room.

either way

Pete, I think its time for you to dig up your grass in the front and side yard. This'll give you extra room lol. I am sure the HOA won't mind lol.

1347. I'd rather see the color come in on the pollinator side..
