Question I have, is I heard that this plant was grown in less than 400sq ft of space, is that true? Also did it/seed produce any big pumpkins? Did anyone plant this seed, if so did ya have any luck?
Just trying to find out some info on it. If it did grow on in less than 400 sq ft this sounds interesting. Thanks Captain

Capt. I dont think the 919 was grown that much the following year, I think one reason is because that is when the growers grouped up and grew the heck out of the 1068 to giant sizes. I dont think it got much growing time.

the 919 was grown from 200 pounds on out with just a 3 ft piece of main and two sides before the pumpkin and approximayely 125 sq ft after the fruit. we grew the 919 that following year and it was a very huge fruit by mid season. very agressive grower. suddenly she stopped growing and the party was over. never bothered to test as to why. could be anything i guess. the year scott palmer grew his 1443 he also grew the 919 and got a fruit over 900 on it. personally id plant any wallace seed from 2006 before id plant the 919. better genetics in the 2006 crosses. pap

Was thinking of growing the 919 until you convinced me other wise.
Shucks, I was really thinking of planting/find the seed of the 919, oh well. Thanks for the advice pap.
