I encourage anyone to join. I was recently sent 26 packs of AG, 2 packs of giant squash, 1 pack tall corn, 1 pack long gourd, and 1 pack giant tomatoe.
I will gladly contribute back this fall.

Look for the 2007 GVGO endorsement seeds too. They could be worth 600 bucks to you.

I need to find my letter for the endorsement seeds. There are some interesting ones in there. I have seen a few with the 1068 as a pollinator but not too many seeds with the 1068 as a female. I guess with the popularity of this seed, I would hide them away too. I have one I will be growing for sure, a 505 Wiliton (1068 Wallace x 1446 Eaton). Are there any pictures of it around?

I took the liberty of contacting Bill on your behalf. I like this cross as well.
Here is what he wrote:
"Hello John, there are some pictures somewhere on my wife's photo album. I will try to find them and send you some. It was fairly orange and perfect shape, just as high on the blossom end as the stem end and moderate ribbing. If you could get me Herbies e-mail I could send him some too. He might want a couple extra seeds as back up!!!! Bill"
I got a funny feeling that the 505 Wiliton is a seed that should be planted!
Just my thoughts John

Herbie, that seed caught my eye as well. It is the Newfoundland record.

I'm glad to hear our members are happy with their membership BP's. There's a lot of seeds with great potential, in the package. I like Bill's 505 as well. It could do real well this season. All the best this year. Take care.

Herbie, the 505 is an exceptional size for newfoundland and there is a little more on that subject. The 1068 plant broke it main vine at about 12' I think, and Bill was able to get a set on the old plant. There are many times he is gone away for weeks at a time and the plants are sometimes left to defend for themselvs. We do what we can. If you want a comparison, the fruit from the 1446 plant grew just over 200lbs, so that kinda shows you what kind of mother the 1068 was, and the 1446(probably the best pollinator in the world) couldnt make for a better match in my opinion. I have both the 505 and 238(1446X1068) and i will be planting the 505 for sure. Good Luck to you if you plant it.
