AGGC is a genetics database that covers most pumpkins & squash over 500 lbs. The hierarchy trees extend back to the elusive origins of the modern era of competitve growing which is around the mid-1980's.
Joining the GVGO http://www.gvgo.ca/links.html gets members limited access & is worth exploring.

I believe that if the AGGC contribution was eliminated from the giant pumpkin growing equation, we would be struggling to get to 1300 lbs.
