There has been some talk about how growers who grow their own seed seem to have success. But here is a twist...

Your seed, you are the grower, but you move and you are now growing your seed in a new location.

In order to reduce variables, lets say that you just move down the street. (Not a new town or state.) Does your new location give your seed an advantage or will this even the playing field between your seed and a seed from someone else?

Your seed or someone elses seed doesn't matter as much as the new location. Most of us thet grow in the same location year after year have beat the tar out of our soil and disease pressure increases each year. A properly prepared patch in a new location (assuming its disease free when you start) will far outweigh any advantage a local seed may have.
