Does anyone now what the biggest white pumpkin ever grown was? The biggest one that I know of is the 1036 Perez.

How about 1076 Ceja? Very white-looking. Grown from a 1097 Beachy.

weird the 1097 throws some strange fruit. A lot of bright orange have also come out of the 1097. I like the 861 Fredricks for shape and white. Jim

Thanks. I could not find a photo of the 1076 Ceja. For some reason I have a liking for white pumpkins. I don't know why but I do. I would like to grow a couple more of the bigger white pumpkins seeds next year. Just trying to figure out what some of them are. I like the 861 Fredricks to, but it seems to throws a light orange color at least so far.

Ultimately, with proper breeding, we could end up with a white strain of AG's...kind of like giant "Luminas"...

Mike my 660 will grow a white one for you. My 437 should to if the 1370 genetics do not take over to much. I just crosses it ito it for maybe color and size.

1268 Pugh thats pretty big alright. I will try the 660 next year in a better spot. Right now I have the 1036 perez selfed so I might be able to do some sort of sib cross. So far the 437 fruit is ghostly white. We will see what happens. Why would I want a white pumpkin? I don't really know, but maybe all this talk about orange this orange that i just felt sorry for them. Really though I just like them for what they look like. Some of them seem to handle the heat very well. They also remind me of those giant eggs from those old cheesy B caveman movies. Like the giant egg in the movie "Caveman" starring Ringo Starr and John Matuszak. Now that was a big omelette! lol

My 861 Fredericks/George put out an orange fruit, granted, not as orange as the father (731 Stucker).
