The 846 Jutras plant that grew the 692 was a very nice plant, but perhaps because of the extreme temperatures last summer, all the early fruit aborted. The 692 was not pollinated until July 24, well past my window for setting competition fruit, so I stopped maintaining the plant. It had nice orange color with not flaws and weighed about 9% over the charts.

I am planning to plant the 825.5 Shymanski '96 this year for genteic reasons. Should the 825.5 fail to germinate, my back up plant is the 692 Pukos.
As Michelle says......"sounds like a winner."
