It seems there are many growers on this site, who are interested in making some nice orange crosses. I'd like to hear some of your possible planned "orange" crosses for this year.
Some I've been considering doing are:

603.5 Muller X 940 Mombert 00
940 Mombert 00 X self
1233 Reiss X 603.5 Muller
1008.4 Reiss X 603.5 Muller(a cross between two selfed seeds)

All of these are on the short list so any number of combos might be possible. But you just never know which will get dunked until they do. Even less sure are which flowers/fruit will cooperate when the time comes.

1069.5 Liggett '04 (869 x 1370), I think this one is going to be a real good orange producer, it grew two real nice lava orange colored pumpkins which was the 869.6 Miller and the 559 Liggett, these are the only two pumpkins listed grown from the 1069.5 in the aggc. I think this one is going to be a good one.

The 1069.5 Liggett is 846Calai x 1370. I think its a underplanted big and orange seed that I've been trying to find. The 1109 Speakman is another good one I think. What about the 770 Biga?

Pa, thanks for the correction, I ment the 846 Cali. The only two pumpkins I have seen that was grown from the 1069 was a awesome orange. Just a guess but I think Mr. Liggett grows it again this year,It does throw a fire orange color thats for sure.
