Was wondering if anyone could provide a list of fruit grown with 695 handy and 898 Knauss as the parents? I dont have access to the AGGC, so if anyone could help me out it would be appreciated.

Joe,
If you don't have access to AGGC, something is seriously wrong.

Maybe I should clarify, and maybe I'm wrong, but Joe has written articles that have appeared on AGGC. Joe is a bit of a "guru" on genetics. I don't know if he has formal training or not, but he has a healthy interest.
Nor do I know why Joe is not on AGGC, and maybe I should shut up... if it has to do with the AGGC not being open to all, then.... well.....

LOL...cliff...i found that quite funny because it is ironic! I am sure there are more than just the 1334 and 822 with that cross?? or has that cross not really been done much? Looks very interesting to me! That 1334 Daletas was 200 lbs over chart....now i just wonder what his 898 did and its % over chart??? hmmmmmm

moro---anything with the 898 in the cross either way, you should plant or hang onto---as we are finding out with the 845 X 898 and the reverse...eric

HEY ERIC. Why my goodness, you've just reminded me. My very own 720.6 is 1068 (845 X 898) X 1104.5 (898 X 845)! Now wouldn't somebody just love to grow that one?! You'll all be paying an arm and a leg and a buck or two at the auctions next year once it gets grown! I have some left, right now! What can I say, need to push a seed you believe in! AleX Noel.

I believe the fruit on the 898 pollinator for Steve's 1334 was his son Scott's 1075. It was 7.3% heavy. But look at all of the fruits grown by the Daletas's. Almost all were very heavy to the charts. Steve had 5 over 1000 pounds this year. They were 15%,19%,12%,18%,17% over the charts with all being different seeds. I would think the heaviness to the charts might be more soil or weather related than seed related.
