It 's a 842Eaton02 x 805Pukos00. What are the possibilities of this seed ? Is this a good one to use as Pollinator for the 1097,5Beachy.

It is a good cross. The 842 and 805 are similar seeds. They both grow alot of ugly colored (I don't mind that) and sometimes heavy OTC pumpkins, and of course BIG. These traits may be passed on into the 1317, may not. If you're considering it, I'd put it in. The 1097.5 is actually alot like those other 2. Great cross I think. AleX Noel.

to much 935 and 723 in that cross for me. Seems like a very small gene pool. i would pollinate the 1097 and the 1317 with some thing genetically different like the 1443 palmer, 425 wolf, or 1458. Other wise i would pollinate it with some pumpkin with a lot of orange in it.

Was the 1317 Bobier an official pumpkin that went to a weigh-off or was it a dmg?? Is this one of Bill Bobier's pumpkins from last year?? Thanks.

Bill's 1317 was grown in 2005 and the weight was estimated. It ripped open and went down on Aug. 12th.

Wow, I wonder how big it would have been if it held together?

842 proves it's self again. powerful genes in that seed. I'm guessing denim or nylon.
