Since mid October 2005 the clones I made from my plants stopped to develop new roots. A rooting hormone did not help. That´s the reason I basically lost them all because I couldn´t keep the unrooted newer parts alive.
What might be the reason for that? I took care about moisture and temperature with no results.

Need more information.

Check to soil & avaerage ambient air temperature first.
Look to keep the soil no more moist than necessary to prevent wilting. How wet right now?
What color are the roots that are there?
How many hours of light & what source?
What is the average humidity?

Well until end of October we basically had summer conditions, warm and not much rain. The clones in large window boxes with good soil and the right level of moisture had been stored outside and did good.
But everything I tried to make the last 2 ft rooting in a new box failed after mid October. A combination of rooting powder (AA) and vitamine B had no results.
Basically this is the same problem I always have with my cuttings.
The clast clone is now in the greenhouse with plant lights at 50 F. It´s more death than alive anyway.

My observation was very sporadic rooting with some plants being better at it indoors then others. Seemed to me to hae a lot to do with ambient light conditions. I did a bit better by letting them dry out in between good drenchings. Not much luck with hormones. Good Luck.
