I should add that it's the same cross as the 1180 Delatas(898 Knause X 846 Calai), which has done quite well. Also it has a Damaged designation(not sure what kind) and was picked on day 30. So it was on an awesome pace, to be estimated at 666 lbs. at day 30(possibly 1400+ lb. pace?). The mother weighed over 1100 lbs. and was quite heavy to the chart.

I'm sorry, I meant the father(846 Calai) weighed over 1100 lbs. etc.

I'm assuming that the males used in pollination, came from the plant that produced Brett's 1144 lber. I could be wrong here.

Brett had alot of good crosses last year so id think people just never grew it over a flip of a coin for most part. That cross does seem like to me it would do very well.
I think Southern on this site might have grown it, but didnt get to finish his plants out like he wanted to due to a family illness.
