909.5 Cramer 04 Has been outstanding I just culled the rest off. Got one steaming up now 25 day's ott- 210 est 205lbs. I had to heavely prune because of space. Almost a no care plant very big stump, and vines. Recent pic on my dairy. Rog

685 Fisher (1061 Ciliberto 01 x 1097 Beachy 02) line bred, all 935 Lloyd and 865 Mettler
838 Pukos (723 Bobier 99 x 805 Pukos 00) line bred, all 935 Lloyd and 865 Mettler
909.5 Cramer (1107 Cramer 03 x 723 Bobier 99) might have a little more color
601 Sherwood (1107 Cramer 03 x 810 Dill) could be a good heavy orange cross
1073 Blalock (1058 Houghton 02 x 1048 Companion 03) I find this one interesting for heavy x orange
969.5 Golat (783 Daletas 00 x 1076 Werner 02) could be a good heavy orange cross
If I had to pick now, 685 Fisher, if color doesn't matter 1073 Blalock if it does

Ron, couple of nu-B ?'s. What does line bred mean? 2nd ? The 1073 Blalock, your comment was good heavy orange cross, which is heavy, which is orange...Houghton vs. Companion...I think I know but am trying to open a forum for us nu-B's...which might already be available somewhere. Is there a place where I can go to find out plant charachteristics (sp?)...color, leaf size, heat tolerance, etc. for specific seeds. Everyone chip in and help us nu-B's out here. Peace Wayne

The AGGC has a non member menu for statistics and other interesting links for genetics. http://www.aggc.org/NonMembersMenu.asp By line bred I mean that the seed has only been selfed or backcrossed to the original 2 parents. Therefore the seed has a greater chance of performing like the original cross. Try a few searches for the parents of your seed on this site and you can find out what other people think about the performance the seed. Usually there are pictures of the plants and pumpkins grown from the seed.
