Gary, I am growing the 770 green is growing nicely..has the huge leaves 25"+ I will try to keep an updated file in my diary this yr...so look in my diary and you can see how it will do. The 770 is a 2004 Missouri state record holder....should be a nice pumpkin. the parents of the 770 is...783 Daletas(which grew the 1238 Daletas), crossed with the 582 Hester (which grew the 1300 Weir). good luck with yours....and keep an eye on mine! I have the 909.5 Cramer 04. growing right now. Shellie sent it to me. The parents are,1107 Cramer X 723 Bobier. This plant has had my attention from the get go, almost a no care plant, big strong, and took everything Mother nature could dish out. You can see it on my diary. Also it went 14.03% OTC In 04. Good luck Gary! And hell ya I'll plant it again. Regardless how it turns out for me this year. Roger.

838 Pukos 04 (723 Bobier x 805 Pukos) 685 Fisher 04 (1061 Ciliberto x 1097 Beachy) These 2 are line bred but wouldn't be my choice for color
770 Green 04 (783 Daletas x 582 Hester) 969 Golat 04 (783 Daletas x 1076 Werner) 909 Cramer 04 (1107 Cramer x 723 Bobier) 1073 Blalock 04 (1058 Houghton x 1048 Companion) These 4 would have a decent chance of good color(meaning orange)
601 Sherwood 04 (1107 Cramer x 810 Dill) My choice from your seeds for color
All of those seeds come from good genetic backgrounds. Ron.

I hope you didn't print it yet. One needs to research the actual progeny of the pollen donor used. You probably shouldn't assume an 810Dill will pass on an orange color when the fruit that 810 pollinator made wasn't orange. I may be wrong but I think Jim's 810 wasn't good orange so I wouldn't say the 601 is my choice for color. I also wouldn't bank on anything with 50% 723Bobier or 1058Houghton for color. If I had to pick one here for color (has to be orange color cause there's no green..lol)it would be the 969Golat but admittedly I have done no research so I wouldn't bet a season on it. One good thing is you have this years results to go by next season when you pick your seeds.
