Have any of you grown it? If so, how'd it do. It's a 801.5 Stelts X 567.5 Mombert cross. I'm wondering if it was the same two plants that were used in the 940 Mombert 00 cross, which is the reverse cross.

It had the same pollinator and was grown on the same plant as the 867 Mombert. The 867 has thrown some orange ones but they tend to split. There are no records of progeny from the 774 in the AGGC. I have often wondered how it would do.

I grew the 774 last season. Well I started to anyway and my daughter claimed it after I gave up on it when it developed a major ribbon vine and I was unable to set a fruit on the main. She ended up with three pumpkins on it with little care, all under 400 lbs. They had decent color and the leaves on this plant were just huge. It had a lot of vigor. Most of the fruit on it were open pollinated and none split. I'm looking at the 940-00 in the patch this year for my pretty ones.
