Yup, 820.5 Werner and 705.5 Werner were both 1007 x self. They were both grown in 2001. Guess you need to make quick friends with Quinn huh? Just kidding ya mate!
Quinn is a good guy but he only grows pumpkins that end with a .0 or a .5. My silly self just found that amusing... Michel

In 2001 I grew a 343 kg/ 756 lb pumpkin. The seed was the 1007 K.Brown 00. The pumpkin was self pollinated and grew 9 m/ 27 f out on the main vine. Unfortunately, early in the season the main vine started to rotten off between the stump and the pumkin. In my 2003 grower diary you can see the pumpkin; http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryView.asp?season=2003&grower=23692&action=L

the big one, the 898 was a 1007 X 1048 cross not the other way around, although i remember someone high up saying it doesn't matter THAT much which is pollinated by which, but that warrants investigation.....eric
