What were some of the things that made this seed so good. Did it through heavy OTC? What are some of the offspring.

Ben Hebb likes the 875. He is one of the few people to have much luck with it. Think he has had 3 over 1000 on it?

it grew Ben's 1215 I believe. It went light (1025 est) and was grown on the 914 Wentzell. Tom

Tom, What are you saying? According to the est. you stated, it went heavy. I saw a pic of it, and it looked huge, so I don't doubt it went light. Was it pollinated with the 914? It did have great shape. Doug

The 1215 was a selfed 875. The 875 was grown on the 914 Wentzel and polinated by the 715 Dill The 875 went light, was estimated at 1025

I was thinking that the 875 would through heavy because of the 1006 Greer genetics. Is there a seed still out there that has very pure 1006 genetics.

342 Rivard 2001 is a self and the "newest" selfed 1006 seed available that I know of, not many grown the last few years. There's a few 977 Andersens still floating around, I just recently traded mine... Hmmmmm, gets me to thinking. I do believe I still have a 607 Greer somwhere deep in my collection....a self also.

The 1081 Wentzell was grown off the 875 Dill also, it went heavy.(611.5 Hester x 875 Dill)My 572 was grown off the 1081 and it did have perfect shape, your right about that.

I might be mistaken but my notes say the 1215 Hebb is a SIBBED 875. Just in case this makes a difference for you, BF
